Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel Company continues its low-carbon efforts and is investing in an environmental improvement of Dangjin Steel Mill.

From 2021, Hyundai Steel will construct power plants by recycling the steam waste from coke ovens. All of the generated electricity will be consumed by the factory itself. Hyundai Steel expects to reduce electricity consumption significantly.
