Inpex Corporation, through its Indonesian unit, Inpex Masela, has received approval from the Indonesian government regarding its revised plan of development on the Abadi liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. The development concept has been changed from a floating LNG to an onshore facility. The Abadi LNG project is located within the Masela block in the Tanimbar Islands, Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is estimated that the production capacity will reach as much as 9.5 million tons per year of LNG.
