South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company rescheduled the restart of the 1,354.3-megawatt (MW) South Texas 02 unit at the South Texas Project Nuclear Generating Station in Texas. The reactor automatically tripped while ramping up due to a unit auxiliary transformer lockout. An official restart date is not known at this time, but estimates indicate the unit could return to service today.

Energy Harbor LLC's 1,311.6-MW Perry 01 unit is offline for an unplanned valve pump leak at its Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio. The event is expected to end May 18.

NRG Energy Incorporated rescheduled the restart of the natural gas-fired, 765-MW Cedar Bayou 02 unit at its Cedar Bayou Power Station in Texas. The event is expected to end May 31.
