Marathon continues with repairs to the 134,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) 25 at its 530,000-BBL/d refinery in Garyville, Louisiana, due to a major mechanical failure. The restart date is unknown but plant personnel expect repairs to continue through the remainder of the year.

Valero, today, December 14, is in the process of restarting the 30,000-BBL/d Gas Oil HDS at its 220,000-BBL/d Bill Greehey East Complex in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit is expected to be back online within the next 24 to 48 hours.

Sinopec Anqing Company Limited is performing a 48-day planned plant-wide turnaround at its 160,000-BBL/d Anqing Refinery in Anhui, China. The turnaround includes 10 units and other downstream support units. Maintenance work is expected to be complete by December 31.

Pakistan Refinery Limited is performing a 20-day minor maintenance turnaround for catalyst regeneration at its 55,000-BBL/d Karachi Refinery in Pakistan, which includes four major units. The units are expected to restart on December 29.
