Sonatrach continues with a 15-day minor shutdown of the 165,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 1 at its 430,000-BBL/d Skikda Refinery in Algeria. Expectations are to restart the unit by May 20.
Slavneft-YANOS started a planned maintenance turnaround of the 33,361-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (L-24/6) at its 312,800-BBL/d Yaroslavl Refinery in Russia. The unit is expected to resume operation by mid-May.
PDVSA remains unable to restart the 92,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) at its 295,000-BBL/d Cardon Refinery in Venezuela, due to recurrent mechanical and utility issues. The unit is planned to remain offline until late June. Separately, the 75,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation 2, 70,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation 3, 51,000-BBL/d Reformer (PLT) and associated units also remain offline.
