The concession of four areas for development at the Port of Itaqui in Sao Luis, Maranho, was recently authorized. The concessions include two brownfield areas, where there is potential to increase the current storage capacity to 46,406 cubic meters from the present 20,406 cubic meters, and to 64,897 cubic meters from the present 34,416 cubic meters, respectively. Additionally, two greenfield areas have a planned storage capacity of as much as 78,724 cubic meters.
