The project includes the installation of 22 five-megawatt (MW) Siemens Gamesa SG-145-5 wind turbine generator sets that will add 110 MW to the 78-MW grassroot phase (under construction), with 22 3.55-MW Siemens Gamesa SG-132-3.5 wind turbine generator sets. Once both phases become operational (at the end of this year for the grassroot phase and early 2022 for the expansion phase), they will add 188 MW of renewable energy to the National Grid.
