Governor Joao Doria announced investments worth R$6 billion (US$1.07 billion) for the restructuring of the Sao Paulo railway network. The announcement is part of Resumption 21/22, a plan to boost the state's economy. The modernization will generate 134,000 direct and indirect jobs throughout the concession.
