Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company (Petrorabigh) has halted the activities on its bottom-of-the-barrel project due to market conditions after the impacts of COVID-19. The project, which was aimed at converting low-value fuel oil to diesel and other high-value products, was in advanced stages of design and was slated to be on stream by late 2024. As of now, Petrorabigh has not revived the project's timeline.
