NEW DELHI--June 8, 2022--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--India's refineries plan to increase their deasphalting capacities by more than 143,000 barrels per day (BBL/d), to upgrade refinery residuals into value-added products by 2027.
The refiners plan to invest about US$510 million to build four new solvent deasphalting units, in order to increase production of asphalt and de-asphalted oil.
