Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Nearly half of the $7.78 billion in first-quarter 2016 construction starts for the U.S. Northeast Region are connected to power projects. Many of the plant projects being tracked by Industrial Info will be fed with natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica shales, but others involve hydroelectricity and even energy from old tires.
