TotalEnergies CEO: On Track to Deliver Mozambique LNG in 2029 - TotalEnergies Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Patrick Pouyanne said on Thursday the company was on track to deliver liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Mozambique project in 2029, adding there will be a massive ramp-up in activity in the country in the coming months on the project. Pouyanne was speaking at a ceremony in Mozambique, marking the relaunch of the French energy major's US$20 billion LNG plant, nearly five years after it was put on hold following a deadly attack by Islamist militants. Malaysia's Petronas to Ramp Up E&P Over Next Three Years - Malaysia's state energy firm Petronas said on Thursday it will ramp up petroleum exploration and production (E&P) over the next three years to strengthen domestic energy security. Petronas said it aims to maintain domestic output at close to 2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day between 2026 and 2028, and will continue investing in exploration, deepwater development, enhanced oil recovery and new production sharing contracts awarded under the Malaysia bid round in 2024. India's Reliance to Buy Up to 150,000 BBL/d of Russian Oil from February - India's Reliance Industries LImited, operator of the world's largest refining complex, will buy up to 150,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) of Russian oil from February for its domestic market-focused refinery, a company executive said on Thursday. Reliance would buy the Russian oil from February from sellers that are not under sanctions, the executive said on the sidelines of India Energy Week, declining to be named in line with his company's policy, according to Reuters.
