Enbridge Forecasts Higher Earnings in 2024 - Pipeline operator Enbridge Incorporated (NYSE:ENB) (Calgary, Alberta) on Wednesday forecast higher core earnings and raised its dividend for 2024 as the company bets on higher demand to lift volumes transported across its network. Enbridge said it expects C$9.3 billion (US$6.8 billion) in core profit from its liquids pipelines business, the company's main unit, helped by strong system utilization. The company forecast adjusted core earnings to be between C$16.6 billion (US$12.23 billion) and C$17.2 billion (US$12.65 billion) next year, higher than its 2023 expectations. (Reuters)

Shell Authorizes Engineering, Construction Work on Manatee Gas Field - Shell plc (NYSE:SHEL) (London, England) has authorized contractor McDermott International (Houston, Texas) to start engineering work on its Manatee gas field development project off Trinidad and Tobago's east coast, the contractor disclosed on Tuesday. Manatee is expected to produce 700 million cubic feet per day to help ease the nation's gas shortfall as soon as 2028.
