In Indonesia, the construction of the Patuha Geothermal Unit 2 in Bandung Regency, West Java, will soon begin. Geo Dipa Energi, the state-owned geothermal company that owns the Patuha geothermal power station, will drill 12 wells for this purpose. The well drilling will begin around March this year.
Funding for the project comes from the Asian Development Bank. The construction of the Patuha Geothermal Unit 2 is expected to be completed by 2023.
