Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Iraq's Petroleum Refining Industry is set to increase its crude oil capacity by 240,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) in the next two years.

The South Refineries Company is planning a 70,000-BBL/d crude oil capacity addition at its existing 210,000-BBL/d facility in Basra by early 2023, and a 10,000-BBL/d addition at its existing 30,000-BBL/d Maysan Refinery, which is scheduled to begin commercial operations by mid-2024.
