Marathon's 44,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Delayed Coker 205 unit at its 530,000-BBL/d Garyville Refinery in Louisiana, remains offline for planned maintenance. Expectations are to return the unit to service in the next week.
Valero continues with planned maintenance on four units at its 235,000-BBL/d Saint Charles Refinery in Norco, Louisiana. The event now is expected to be completed on March 6.
International
South Refineries Company (SRC) tentatively expects to begin a 30-day planned major turnaround of the Crude Area 3 and Crude Area 2 at its 280,000-BBL/d Basra Refinery in Iraq, on September 5 and October 15, respectively. Expectations are to restart the units by October 4 and November 13.
S-Oil Corporation expects it will restart the 250,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 3 at its 669,000-BBL/d Onsan Refinery in South Korea by February 28. The unit was forced to shut down due to a fire at the pump section on February 23, but all other units continue to operate at normal throughput.
