Duke Energy Carolinas LLC rescheduled the restart of the 1,157-megawatt (MW) McGuire 02 unit at its McGuire Nuclear Power Station in North Carolina. Duke ran into some delays with completing a scheduled refueling. The unit now is expected to restart April 5, barring further delays.
Georgia Power Company's 883-MW Hatch 02 unit is operating at 94% as it ramps back up from a manual reactor scram and automatic actuation of containment isolation valves at its Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Power Station in Georgia. The event is expected to end today.
Virginia Electric and Power Company's 350-MW Greensville County 01 ST unit and three other units at its Greensville County Power Station in Virginia, are offline for a major turbine inspection and other work at the plant. The event is expected to end April 15.
