Valero, on May 20, experienced a partial power outage at its 170,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) McKee Refinery in Sunray Texas, which caused the 76,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU), 30,000-BBL/d Hydrocracker and the 9,500-BBL/d SF Alkylation (SF Alky) Unit to shut down. The units are expected to be back online in the next 12 to 24 hours.

International
PDVSA's 80,000-BBL/d FCC unit (DCAY) at its 625,000-BBL/d Amuay Refinery in Venezuela, remains offline. The unit, which was forced to shut down on March 2 due to catalyst issues, remains under mechanical repairs and current expectations are to restart the unit in the first week of June. Separately, the 120,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation 4 and 180,000-BBL/d Crude 5 units remain offline until late July and November, respectively.

Sonatrach continues with a 30-day plant-wide maintenance turnaround of the RA1K block at its 430,000-BBL/d Skikda Refinery in Algeria. Expectations are to restart the block by June 16.

Hengli Petrochemical Dalian Company Limited continues with a 38-day planned turnaround of the 64,000-BBL/d Reformer 1 at its 400,000-BBL/d refinery in Dalian, China. Expectations are to restart the unit by June 25.
