PDVSA's 80,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) (DCAY) at its 625,000-BBL/d Amuay Refinery in Venezuela, remains offline. The unit, which was forced to shut down on March 2 due to catalyst issues, remains under mechanical repairs; current expectations are to restart the unit no sooner than late July. Separately, the 120,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation 4 and 180,000-BBL/d Crude 5 units remain offline until late July and November, respectively.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has delayed the commercial startup of the Crude Flexibility Project at its 417,000-BBL/d Ruwais Refinery 2 (West) in the United Arab Emirates. The startup is tentatively expected by July 24. The 177,000-BBL/d Atmospheric Residue Desulfurization (ARDS) Unit and supporting units are under test runs. Eni Spa continues with a planned plant-wide shutdown at its 113,200-BBL/d Livorno Refinery in Italy. The shutdown is expected to wrap up by mid-July.
