Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Langdon Wind LLC, a joint venture of FPL Group Incorporated (NYSE:FPL) (Juno Beach, Florida) and Otter Tail Power Company (Fergus Falls, Minnesota), began full commercial operation this month on Phase II of the $70 million, 40-megawatt (MW) Langdon Windfarm in Osnabrock, North Dakota. The project, which is FPL's fifth in North Dakota, began construction during the summer and was complete by the fall. Phase I has been operational since January 12.
Wanzek Construction (Fargo, North Dakota) provided the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction services for Phase II.
