Now, these states are poised to take advantage of this valuable resource and increase renewable energy generation capacities. Currently, the two states have a combined renewable generation capacity of 1,445 megawatts (MW): 1,320 MW of wind, 113 MW of hydroelectric, and 12 MW of landfill gas-fired projects.
