John S. Clark Company, headquartered in Mount Airy, North Carolina, was awarded the general construction contract for the proposed $55 Million 1.2 million square foot distribution center in Mount Crawford, Virginia. Site preparation started in October 2004 on the project. Construction for the new center is expected to begin in the spring of 2005, with completion slated for late summer of 2006.

Butler Construction Company, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, was awarded the general construction contract for a $28.5 million distribution center expansion in Williamsburg, Virginia. Plans are to expand the existing 2.2 million square foot building by constructing a one million square foot expansion adjacent to the existing center, on a 243-acre site. Site preparation started in October 2004, with building construction expected Spring 2005. Overall completion is slated for early summer of 2006.
