China's U.S. Ethane Imports Rise to Record Highs
Reuters reports that data from Kpler and Sublime China Information show that China imported around 582,000 barrels per day of U.S. ethane in April, the highest amount recorded.

Industrial Info Resources data show the largest ethane export terminal presently under construction in the U.S. is ONEOK's $500 million liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) export terminal in Texas City, Texas, which will have four docks and the capability of loading very large gas carriers (VLGCs) and very large ethane carriers (VLECs). The project is expected to be completed in 2028.

On Thursday, Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled a C$1 trillion (US$729 billion) plan to double the country's power generation capacity by 2050.
