Phillips 66 to Convert Louisiana Refinery to Terminal - Phillips 66 (NYSE:PSX) (Houston, Texas) announced plans to convert its Alliance Refinery in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, to a terminal facility. The conversion is expected to take place in 2022. "We made this decision after exploring several options and considering the investment needed to repair the refinery following Hurricane Ida," said Phillips 66 Chief Executive Officer Greg Garland. Saudi Arabia Raises Oil Price to Asia - Saudi Arabia has raised the price differential of its flagship crude oil to Asia by more than double in December versus November, exceeding market expectations and sending a bullish signal to the global oil market, traders said. On Saturday, state oil giant Saudi Aramco hiked the official selling price for Arab Light crude by $1.40 to $2.70 a barrel above the average of Platts Dubai and DME Oman prices in December, its highest level since September.
