Dubai Issues Tender for Advisory Services for Major Solar-plus-BESS Project

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has issued a tender to appoint a consultant for advisory services on a 1.6-gigawatt (GW) solar photovoltaic and 1-GW battery energy storage system (BESS) project, to be developed in an independent power producer (IPP) model. According to the tender documents, the BESS will offer six hours of storage. DEWA has set a deadline to submit the proposals by December 17, 2024, through its online platform.
