GAIL (India) Limited Sees $3.5 Billion in Capital Projects

Major projects include the North East Gas Grid project, which will expand gas pipeline infrastructure.

As India plans to increase the share of natural gas in its energy mix to 20% by 2030, the country is gearing up to expand the natural gas pipeline network. By 2030, demand for natural gas is set to increase to 746 million standard cubic meters per day.
