Dow Chemical has completed a 30-day turnaround of its 550 million-pound-per-year LDPE Poly D unit in Plaquemine, Louisiana. The turnaround began in April and was completed in early May.

INOVYN continues with a six-week planned maintenance turnaround of the approximately 1.1 billion-pound-per-year ethylene dichloride (EDC) unit at its Tavaux Chlorine plant in France. The turnaround, which kicked off on April 10, is expected to be completed at the end of May.

BASF SE has rescheduled a 60-day planned maintenance turnaround of the 882 million-pound-per-year Ethylene Unit 2 at its Ludwigshafen Complex in Germany. The turnaround, which initially was planned for June 5, is now expected to begin May 31. Expectations are to complete the repairs and restart the unit by July 29.

Karpatneftekhim has scheduled a month-long planned maintenance turnaround of the 573 million-pound-per-year ethylene and 286 million-pound-per-year PE units, which will begin in early April 2022, at its Karpatneftehim Petrochemical Plant in the Ukraine.
