Chevron Phillips Chemical is on schedule to perform an approximately 45-day turnaround of its 1.84-billion-pound-per-year 1592 Ethylene Unit in Baytown (Cedar Bayou), Texas, in early 2022. An exact start date has not been scheduled; however, the turnaround is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2022.

Flint Hills Resources is in the process of shutting down its 1.54 billion-pound-per-year Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Unit in Houston, Texas, for minor maintenance. The plant is expected to be offline for seven days, with the restart on September 14.

Shintech Louisiana is in the process of restarting its 1.1 billion-pound-per-year ethylene unit in Plaquemine, Louisiana, after the plant was shut down on August 28 in preparation for Hurricane Ida.

LG Chemical Limited's approximately 2.55-billion-pound-per-year ethylene unit at its Yeosu Yongseong Chemicals Plant in South Korea resumed normal operations on August 30. The unit's production had been curtailed by 10% on August 3 due to market conditions.

Reliance Industries Limited is planning a 30-day maintenance turnaround of the 881.80-million-pound-per-year ethylene unit, which would begin March 17, 2023, at its Nagothane Chemical Complex in India. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by April 15, 2023.

LyondellBasell Industries NV remains on schedule to perform a 45-day planned turnaround of the 804 million-pound-per-year ethylene unit, beginning September 16, at its Pfaffenhofen Complex in Germany. Expectations are to complete repairs and restart the unit by October 30.
