Deer Park Refining, on September 28, started the approximately 30-day, fall turnaround of the 115,000-BBL/d Vacuum Flasher (VF) 3 Unit at its 340,000-BBL/d refinery in Deer Park, Texas, which also involves staggered turnarounds of the 67,000-BBL/d SHCU (Hydrocracker), 70,000-BBL/d DU 1 (Crude) and 43,000-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (ULSD) units.

Midland Refinery Company (MRC) has delayed the restart of the 25,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit 1 at its 165,000-BBL/d Daurah Refinery in Iraq, due to low demand as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The restart now is expected by November 30.

Rompetrol Rafinare SA's 105,000-BBL/d Petromidia Refinery in Romania, remains shut down following an explosion on July 2. The restart is expected by the end of October.

Zhenghe Group, on September 20, was forced to shut down its 100,000-BBL/d Dongying Refinery in Shandong, China, due to the local government's power restriction policy. Seven major units and other downstream support units are involved.
