Parkland Fuel Corporation continues with planned maintenance on the 3,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) sulfuric alkylation unit, which started October 1, at its 50,000-BBL/d Burnaby, British Columbia, refinery. The restart is expected November 1. Meanwhile, the 18,000-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) is running at 50% of capacity until completion.
Pemex TRI's 270,000-BBL/d Cadereyta, Mexico, refinery, continues running at lower rates. The 120,000-BBL/d Combinada 1 (Crude 1) is running at 110,000 BBL/d, while the 150,000-BBL/d Combinada 2 (Crude 2) is offline due to tower packing exchange works.

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), on October 29, restarted the 33,000-BBL/d Atmospheric Residue Desulfurization (ARDS) Unit 1 at its 346,000-BBL/d Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery in Kuwait. The 33,000-BBL/d ARDS 2 is tentatively expected to restart by November 3.
Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) has rescheduled the 30-day plant-wide turnaround of its 156,000-BBL/d Bina Refinery in India. The turnaround, which includes seven major units, now is expected to begin May 15, 2022. The restart is expected by June 13, 2022.
Suez Oil Processing Company (SOPC) continues with a 30-day planned turnaround of four units, which began October 17, at its 48,000-BBL/d (design capacity: 60,000-BBL/d) Suez Refinery in Egypt. The restart is expected by November 15.
