Eni has announced that it has inked a new long-term sales and purchase agreement for 1.5 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced from Bonny Island trains 1, 2 and 3, operated by Nigeria LNG (NLNG).
Bonny LNG is under expansion, with the addition of a new LNG train, which is planned to be operational by 2024.
