Japan's Cosmo Oil Starts Construction of Sustainable Aviation Fuel Unit

Cosmo Oil Company Limited (Tokyo, Japan) has started construction of a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) unit which will become operational in 2025. The unit will use wasted food oil for the feed.

Taiyo Oil Company Limited (Tokyo) has decided to construct a SAF unit with ethanol as the feed as well as another SAF unit which will use carbon monoxide and woody biomass for the feed.
