June 30, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), through its local subsidiary KUFPEC Indonesia (Anambas) B.V., has received approval for the Plan of Development (POD-1) of the Anambas Field located in the West Natuna Sea, Indonesia.
The project is expected to come online by 2028, with estimated production of 55 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas and 2,000 barrels per day of condensate.
According to SKK Migas, Indonesia's upstream oil and gas regulator, total gas sales from the project are projected to reach 185 billion cubic feet. Once production begins, gas is expected to be delivered to both domestic and regional markets.
