Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Neste Singapore Private Limited, a subsidiary of Neste Corporation (Espoo, Finland), recently completed an expansion of a major renewable diesel plant in Singapore, in an effort to reduce emissions in the aviation industry.
The expansion doubled the facility's production of renewable diesel to 2.6 million tons per year, including 1 million tons per year of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Subscribers to Industrial Info's Global Market Intelligence (GMI) Alternative Fuels Project Database can learn more from a detailed project report and plant profile.
In accordance with Singapore's Green Plan 2030, Neste established an SAF supply chain for Singapore's Changi Airport. The program will blend the renewable diesel into jet fuel at a terminal, for use by regional and international airlines.
