U.S. Oil Firms Evacuate Offshore Staff Ahead of Storm Francine - U.S. Gulf of Mexico offshore oil and gas producers on Monday were evacuating staff and curbing drilling as Tropical Storm Francine churned through the energy region on a path to bring high winds and drenching rains to the U.S. mid-South. Francine is moving toward U.S. Gulf of Mexico waters and predicted to become the fourth hurricane of the Atlantic season. Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) (Spring, Texas) said it shut-in output and evacuated staff from its Hoover offshore production platform. Shell plc (NYSE:SHEL) (London, England) said it was evacuating non-essential personnel from three offshore oil platforms, and had paused drilling operations at two others. Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) (San Ramon, California) is evacuating non-essential staff from four offshore platforms, but production remains at normal levels, a spokesperson said. (Reuters)

ANDOC to Supply LNG to Indian Oil in 15-Year Deal - The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) (Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) has agreed to a 15-year deal to supply Indian Oil Corporation (New Delhi, India) with 1 million metric tons per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG), the Abu Dhabi Media Office said on Monday.
