New Zealand's Southern Green Hydrogen Project Picks Up Partner

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Meridian Energy (Wellington, New Zealand) is progressing to the development stage on its NZ$4.5 billion (US$2.9 billion) Southern Green Hydrogen (SGH) project with a new partner.

The SGH project is designed to produce 500,000 tons per year of green ammonia in Southland, New Zealand, in support of New Zealand's decarbonization plans. The proposed project will begin front-end engineering and design (FEED) after finalizing commercial agreements.
