NextDecade, Occidental Partner for CO2 Transportation, Storage - U.S. liquefied natural gas company NextDecade Corporation (NASDAQ:NEXT) and a subsidiary of Occidental (NYSE:OXY) said on Thursday the companies have signed a term sheet for carbon-dioxide transportation and storage in South Texas. Last week, NextDecade said it wants to develop a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at its proposed Rio Grande liquefied natural gas export plant in Texas. U.S. Approves Cheniere's Corpus Christi Train 3 for Service - The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on Thursday approved Cheniere Energy Incorporated's (NYSE:LNG) request to put the third liquefaction train at the company's Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant in Texas into service. The train has already been operating for months in test mode. (Project 300057257)

CRUDE OIL
Oil Drops 4% - Oil prices fell 4% per barrel on Thursday, extending a string of market weakness on renewed lockdowns in Europe and Asia to head off a rising coronavirus infection rate. Brent crude fell $2.46, or 3.8%, to settle at $61.95 a barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell $2.62, or 4.3%, to settle at $58.56 a barrel.
