North Huajin Chemical Industries Aims to Set Up Petchem Complex in China

Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The planned grassroot Huajin Aramco Petrochemical Panjin Complex, a joint venture, is located in Liaoning, China.

The total investment value of the project is US$12.2 billion, of which North Huajin Chemical Industries Group Corporation and Panjin XinCheng Industrial Group hold a 51% and 19% stake, respectively, and Aramco (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) holds the remaining 30% stake.

The complex will combine a 300,000-barrel-per-day refinery and a petrochemical plant, according to Aramco.

The mechanical work for the project is expected to start in the second half of this year, and the commercial startup is anticipated by the end of 2026.
