China's Crude Oil Imports Down 15% in September - China's September crude oil imports fell 15.3% from a year earlier, data showed on Wednesday. Meanwhile, natural gas imports rose to the highest since January at 10.62 million tonnes, according to data from the General Administration of Customs. (Reuters)

EIA: U.S. Crude Oil Output Seen Falling More than Previously Forecast - U.S. crude oil output is going to fall more than expected previously in 2021 and bounce back in 2022, according to a monthly government report released on Wednesday. Crude oil output will drop 260,000 barrels per day (BBL/d) to 11.02 million BBL/d this year, and then rebound to 11.73 million BBL/d in 2022, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said. In its previous forecast, the agency had forecast a 200,000-BBL/d drop in 2021. (Reuters)
