The Renewable Energy Project Development Office (REPDO) within the Ministry of Energy was established in 2017 to deliver on the goals of the NREP in line with the country's Vision 2030.

NEOM is a well know project being developed in Saudi Arabia. NEOM, a futuristic city to be developed by Saudi Arabia near the Red Sea, will be home to one of the world's largest green hydrogen plants, which will be powered by 4 GW of solar and wind power.
