Chevron Phillips's 3,300 million-pound-per-year 1594 ethylene unit at its plant in Cedar Bayou (Baytown), Texas, remains offline after being forced to shut down July 26 due to a power outage. The restart is expected in mid-August.

NOVA Chemicals, on August 7, began an approximately 35-day planned turnaround of its 2,800 million-pound-per-year E3 ethylene unit in Joffre, Alberta. The restart is expected in mid-September.

LyondellBasell is performing an approximately two-week turnaround of the 1,960 million-pound-per-year OP2 flex metathesis propylene unit at its plant in Channelview, Texas. The restart is expected in mid-August.

Tomskneftekhim OOO continues with a planned turnaround of the 330 million-pound-per-year polypropylene unit at its Tomsk Petrochemical Complex in Russia. The unit restart is expected by August 21.
