INEOS Olefins & Polymers postponed an approximately 45-to-60-day turnaround of the 1.7 billion-pound-per-year Olefins 1 ethylene unit at its Chocolate Bayou Olefins Plant in Alvin, Texas. The turnaround, which was originally expected to kick off in late March, now is planned to take place in 2026. Additionally, INEOS will plan a minor outage in the near future to perform preventative maintenance before the major turnaround takes place. Dates for the minor outage are unknown at this time.

Zhejiang Petrochemical Company Limited, on April 1, began a planned turnaround of the 3,086 million-pound-per-year Ethylene 2 unit at its petrochemical plant in Zhoushan, China. Expectations are to restart the unit by May 15.
