ExxonMobil has rescheduled planned maintenance on the 90,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) 2 (Fuels West) at its 557,000-BBL/d Baytown, Texas refinery. The major turnaround will begin in first-quarter 2023.

North West Redwater Partnership will conduct a 70-day plant-wide maintenance turnaround at its 77,080-BBL/d Sturgeon Refinery in Alberta, Canada, beginning in late August 2022.

Pemex TRI, on December 7, will begin a 35-day planned turnaround of the 163,000-BBL/d Crude Primaria 2, 90,000-BBL/d Vacuum 2 and 40,000-BBL/d FCC 1 units at its 325,000-BBL/d Salina Cruz, Mexico, refinery.

International
PDVSA continues to keep the 120,000-BBL/d Crude 2, 85,000-BBL/d Crude 1, and 80,000-BBL/d FCC units at its 625,000-BBL/d Amuay, Venezuela, refinery, online at lower rates due to financial constraints and restrictions. The 180,000-BBL/d Crude 5, 120,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 4 and 120,000-BBL/d Crude 3 units remain offline.

Sonatrach continues with a minor planned maintenance shutdown of the 30,000-BBL/d Reformer 1 at its 430,000-BBL/d Skikda Refinery in Algeria. The restart is tentatively scheduled for December 4.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has delayed the restart of the 20,000-BBL/d FCCU 1 at its 150,000-BBL/d Mumbai Refinery in India. The unit now is tentatively scheduled to restart by December 10. Separately, the 70,000-BBL/d CDU 2 continues to operate at 50% and is tentatively expected to resume full throughput by December 15.
