CITGO continues to perform intermittent repairs to the 34,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Delayed Coker 1 unit at its 420,000-BBL/d refinery in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The unit shut down in August 2021 because of Hurricane Ida, and repairs are expected to continue through the end of the year. The 60,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker 2 has been able to cover the workload.
Pemex's 25,000-BBL/d Diesel Hydrotreater (U-100) unit at its 285,000-BBL/d Lazaro Cardenas (Minatitlan), Mexico, refinery, remains shut down. The unit was forced to go offline on May 23 due to a fire, and a restart date is still unknown; repairs on the damaged equipment are needed. Separately, the 75,000-BBL/d Primaria 3 (Crude 3) unit remains offline, and the refinery is running at approximately 35% of total capacity.

PKN Orlen SA continues with a planned maintenance turnaround of the 68,000-BBL/d Hydrocracker and 6,024-BBL/d Reformer VI units at its 277,808-BBL/d Plock Refinery in Poland. The reformer unit is expected to restart in late June, and the Hydrocracker in early July.
Repsol Petroleo SA continues with a planned turnaround of six units and associated secondary units at its 220,000-BBL/d refinery in Cartagena, Spain. The units are expected to be back online by mid-June.
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited continues with a planned minor shutdown of the 70,000-BBL/d Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) 2, 10,200-BBL/d Naphtha Hydrocracker (NHT) Unit and 6,020-BBL/d Isomerization unit at its 150,000-BBL/d Mumbai Refinery in India. The CDU 2 is expected to be back online by June 2, while the NHT and Isomerization units are expected to be restarted by June 3. As a result of the shutdown, the 13,150-BBL/d Reformer unit has been operating at 50% since May 23, and full throughput is scheduled to resume on June 10.
