The oil and gas rig count rose by two to 585 in the week ending April 17. Baker Hughes said oil rigs rose by one to 481 this week, while gas rigs gained one to 98. (Reuters)

The output of the solar farm is contracted to Meta Platforms Incorporated (NASDAQ:META) (Menlo Park, California). EIA: U.S. Natural Gas Output, Demand to Peak in 2032 - U.S. natural gas output and demand will both peak in 2032, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in its Annual Energy Outlook on Tuesday. The EIA projected that in 2032, dry gas production will reach 119.0 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) and demand will reach 92.4 Bcf/d. That compares with current record highs of 103.6 Bcf/d in 2023 for output and 90.5 Bcf/d in 2024 for demand. (Reuters)
