SUGAR LAND--November 28, 2016--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Presque Isle Power Plant, a 61-year-old, 344-megawatt (MW), coal-fired power plant in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (UP), will be closed by yearend 2020 and its generation will be replaced by two planned, gas-powered power plants.
