With Influx of Renewables, California Votes to Close Two Remaining Nuclear Reactors

The plant's owner and operator, PG&E Corporation (NYSE:PCG) (San Francisco, California), says the reactors' carbon-free power generation will no longer be needed due to an influx of renewable energy into the state and lower consumer usage.
