Teck Resources has suspended the construction works at the Quebrada Blanca 2 copper mine following the measures taken by the Chilean government to help curb COVID-19. The suspension will continue at least until April 5, and the company will continue to monitor the evolution of COVID-19 regarding new actions.
Teck Resources will place the plant under care and maintenance and prepare it to be ready to restart construction once the COVID-19 crisis is over. Financial and schedule impacts have not been determined yet.

Site-wide Scheduled Maintenance for April 12, 2025, between 9 A.M. - 9 P.M. CST. During this time, all services will be unavailable periodically throughout the scheduled maintenance window.
