Duke Energy Carolinas LLC expects a slight delay in the restart of the 1,129-megawatt (MW) Catawba 02 unit at its Catawba Nuclear Power Station in South Carolina, due to a reactor vessel closure head (RVCH) penetration nozzle failure. Sources have stated that if all goes well, they should begin ramping the unit back online later this week.
