SUGAR LAND--September 27, 2021--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--PPL Corporation (NYSE:PPL) (Allentown, Pennsylvania) took a big step toward growing its presence in the renewable-energy sector last week, when the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) unanimously approved its acquisition of The Narragansett Electric Company from National Grid USA, the U.S. subsidiary of National Grid plc (NYSE:NGG) (London, England).
